Brunei carrier begins Ho Chi Minh City service

Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA) will begin services to Ho Chi Minh City starting May 11.

The carrier announced thrice weekly services, departing Brunei’s capital Bandar Seri Begawan at 2:40pm and arriving at the Vietnamese hub at 3:40pm.

"Apart from targeting the traffic movement between Australia (Sydney) and Vietnam, we also see Ho Chi Minh as an alternative shopping and sightseeing destination for Bruneians," Rozman Junaidi, RBA's Acting Head of Corporate Communications, said.

Flights depart Brunei every Monday, Thursday, and Sunday while the return services leave Ho Chi Minh Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

Initial promotional fares start from BN$250 (US$154) for a round ticket.
