Royal
Brunei Airlines (RBA) will begin services to Ho Chi
Minh City starting May 11.
The carrier
announced thrice weekly services,
departing Brunei’s capital
Bandar Seri Begawan at 2:40pm and
arriving at the Vietnamese
hub at 3:40pm.
"Apart from targeting
the traffic movement between Australia (Sydney) and
Vietnam, we also see Ho Chi Minh as an alternative shopping
and sightseeing destination for Bruneians," Rozman
Junaidi, RBA's Acting Head of Corporate Communications,
said.
Flights depart Brunei
every Monday, Thursday,
and Sunday while the return services leave Ho Chi Minh
Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
Initial
promotional fares start from BN$250
(US$154) for a round ticket.
